Business Manager. Duties and responsibilities; Operational management: follow up on management team to ensure all action plans are in progress. Financial management: planning and working to budgets, maximising profits and achieving sales targets set by Head Office and Owner Operator, controlling takings in the restaurant, administering payrolls, etc. People management: recruiting new staff, training and developing Management Team, motivating and encouraging staff to achieve targets, coordinating Management scheduling. Working to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations. Ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained. Implementing, and instilling in their teams, company policies, procedures, ethics, etc. Devising and marketing promotional campaigns. Preparing reports and other performance analysis documentation. Reporting to and attending regular meetings with General Manager and Owner Operator. Establishing relationships with the local community and undertaking activities that comply with the company's corporate social responsibility programmes; Tidy Towns, Local Town Council… Leading the management team; setting targets, managing budgets, controlling stock as well as recruiting, training and inspiring employees. Improving all systems by performing key success factors (KPI). System’s audits, creating action plans and follow up on the floor on daily basis. Overall responsibilities; People Demonstrating and reinforcing the basic people minimums (uniforms, crew schedules, communication sessions, etc.) necessary to gain commitment from crew and management team.
