Monitoring and optimizing the performance of a Digital Microwave Radio (Harris/Stratex) backbone network (focusing on the application performance management rather than availability and event management, i.e. performance of Trunked mobile radio (MPT1327) network as opposed to DMR performance)
Identified and configured relevant alarms/thresholds (MIBs) for radios and multiplexers using SNMPc management console and ProVision (Harris/Stratex’s proprietary network management system)
Troubleshooting and managing DMR related faults.
Administering L1 (PDH/DS0) services, i.e. managing 2Mbps circuits on radios and 64kbps circuits on multiplexers
