• Work within the site organization with regard to all civil work aspects on site.
• Ensure that Contractor carries out his work according to the contract.
• Ensure quality of work carried out by the Contractor through RFI’s procedure.
• Ensure Contractor remains within the time schedule and contract cost regarding civil works through PPMS procedure.
• Ensure the contractor uses the appropriate materials through MA procedure.
• Check Contractor's safety procedures regarding civil work. Participating in PTW procedure.
• Maintain relations with the Contractor's civil works teams so that interactions between Owner's civil works specialists and Contractor's civil works teams function smoothly.
• Stay informed regarding contractor’s civil works activities and is responsible in assessment of civil work progress on site through daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Keep myself informed on all safety aspects regarding civil works
• Anticipate problems and actions of the Contractor and tries to prevent conflicts
• Ensure Contractor works according to quality assurance program/procedures
• Participate in the internal Site Team meetings
• Participate in meetings with the Contractor's site team
• Participate in specialist meetings regarding civil works
• Participate in commissioning procedure.
• Keep myself informed regarding any project design changes and their influence on the civil works.
• Keep the Civil Work Manager informed.
