О себе

I always use supplementary materials in addition to the main course. Extra communicative activities‚ games and sometimes videos make learning fun. Videos and authentic texts can be a great source of cultural information as well as motivate students and activate them during the lesson.
I have good educational background. I am enthusiastic‚ hard working‚ organized‚ have a solid work ethic‚ quick to build trust with my students.
I value individuality‚ and strive to meet the needs of each student. To accomplish this‚ I use a variety of different teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles. I also recognize the importance of trust‚ and successfully established relationships with students that resulted in a safe and comfortable‚ yet challenging‚ learning environment.

In my view at least 20 percent of teachers' personal or work time should be given to professional study and collaborative work. That's why I attend lots of teacher development seminars which introduce practicing EFL teachers to a range of up-to-date methods and techniques. That is definitely an effective way to develop career.

I encourage students to use English in their out-of-class time.
They could listen to the radio‚ find a pen friend‚ read books‚ watch movies‚ etc.
Watching movies is a great way to learn English.
Also I pretty often use on-line materials from different sites such as englishtips.org‚ youtube.com‚ www.americanrhetoric.com‚ isohunt.com‚ http://www.learnenglish.de/‚ http://www.englishclub.com/‚ http://www.learn-english-online.org/‚ rollingstoneonline.com‚ http://www.world-english.org/‚ http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/index.shtml‚ http://www.pronunciationpatterns.com/ and others.

I think nowadays we can benefit much from using new technological opportunities. I am a good internet and computer user and I am also interested in applying my knowledge in a really useful project such as making flash programs for on-line courses or developing such kind of courses for English or Russian learners.
