Lean Manufacturing methods implementation and follow up (kaizen, sinchronized production flows, 5S, kanban). Communications on all levels of management from line to top. Project results assessment. Regular reporting routines to top management.
1) Team of 10 Lead Engineers is formed, trained and works.
2) 125 line managers were trained in productivity management and cost analisys as well as in 5S.
3) Organizational structures of departments are optimized. Resources and functions are re-distributed. 1400 individuals are moved from enterprise. Annual savings are more than 56 mln. rubles.
4) First stage of line management attestation was completed in two largest departments (119 managers).
5) Production flows developed and implemented. Personal productivity in production flows grew up to 48%. Overall productivity growth in production flows went up to 28%.

1) Personnel is trained in operational and cost analisys, in management systems (coordinators, supervisors, managers - more than 60 individuals).
2) Productivity potential defined and is being realized in hot rolling mills - 3 times.
3) Productivity growth in pipe troughput up to 12% per year.
4) Proven annual savings from management system installed in workshop is 2 mln. USD.
5) Developed and implemented in production are:
(1) Manual and methods on investment projects (modernization budget - 4.2 bln. rubles in 2007)Project Analysts consulted and helped in project scheduling. Project Managers are helped in schedule usage, in rist estimates.
(2) New management system for Capital Construction Dept is developed and implemented. Construction specialists are trained in its utilization.
(3) Automated Resource Planning System is developed for the Centralized Maintenance Service (calculation and efficient distribution of man-hours of the maintenance personnel).
