Preparation of Corporate, Sole Trader and Partnership financial statements to review and sign-off stage in a timely fashion;
Preparation of Management Accounts on a bi-monthly basis to review stage;
Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT and PAYE/PRSI Computations and Returns and Agreeing same with the Revenue Commissioners;
Cash, Bank, Debtors and Creditors reconciliation;
Maintaining Fixed Asset Register;
Dealing with all finance/accounting and tax issues which arise and responding to clients’ queries;
Advise and consult clients on tax planning and other relevant matters;
Proficient at General Ledger administration, P&L analysis and Balance Sheet reconciliations;
Adhoc consultancy such as projecting P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflows, maximum pension funding and mortgage applications;
Advise and consult clients on personal, corporate and executive pension policies;
Dealing with all company secretarial matters such as set-up and wind-up proceedings;
Producing payroll for clients and dealing with queries on same. Ranging from 10-150 staff;
Preparing, presenting and dealing with queries regarding Revenue Audits, handling queries from the inspector of taxes;
Dealing with client and other related parties telephone calls;
General company administration duties;
Analytical review of all areas of profit and loss and balance sheet;
Responsible for training and development of new juniors and appraising their progress;
Conducting and supervising stocktakes ensuring all controls and procedures are adhered to;
Audit, accounting and tax experience in a range of clients including:
Food and Fashion Retail (Louise Kennedy, Japan, Newlook, Morgan);
Publishing (VIP and Kiss Magazine);
Property Investment;
Show Business (TV Presenter Tom McGurk, singer Sinead O'Connor, Film Director Neil Jordan);
Large Health Clinics (Landscape Clinic);
A lot of high net worth individuals.
Turnover of audits range from €350,000 to 4,000,000.
